THE CLERMONT SCHOOL, BOGOTA COLOMBIA
Dear International Science Students:
Hello dear friends. We are the Clermont School, and we want to describe you our school. It is located in the north west of Bogotá, at latitude 4º 47’ 54.4’’ North, longitude 74º 02’ 51.8’’ West and an altitude of 2,430 meters.
Clermont School has football, basketball, and volleyball courts, horses and we also go to receive swimming classes. Bogotá is located at an elevation of 2,430 meters on a mountain rimmed plateau high in the Cordillera Oriental of the Andes Mountains.
Our city has a variety of cultures, you can find a lot of foreign people, of different skin color and religion. You can find out about us in: http://pages.infinit.net/colombia/bogota
We are from Eighth and Tenth grades and we hope to have a good relationship by this Project.

Our school has 411 students –boys and girls. The Clermont is surrounded by trees and we have dogs, horses, goats, cows and others.
We want to tell you that Colombia is a beautiful country, but some people say that we are a very violent country, but we are not like that; so please come, and visit us!
Clermont and we all want to join all the countries in peace.

Greetings to students at the Clermont School!
Thanks for writing such a great letter of introduction. I enjoyed reading about your school and looking at the web site links you provided. I especially liked looking at the photos of Bogota. I'm looking forward to seeing the results of your experiment. Enjoy the project!
