We think that the macro invertebrates that are found in pond water all over the world will be different.
We believe they will be different because the climates are different all over the world. We know that plants and animals vary because of the climates, so we think the pond life will vary too.
A sample of pond water was taken from Burnham Park in Morristown, NJ. We examined the water and found the following creatures and plant life:
Dragonfly nymphs, tadpoles, mayfly nymphs, midge larvae, beetle, bristle worm, water spiders, snails, mosquito larvae, and what we think was a caddis fly nymph and scud.
Plant life included algae, dead oak leaves, and various water plants.
