What Can You Do Lesson Plan
Objectives
Students will:
- consider the importance of excess nitrogen in the environment
- brainstorm and plan different activities to prevent and/or solve a problem
- create action plans and campaign materials to communicate what they have learned
Materials
- computers with internet access
- student worksheet (.pdf)
- poster board or large sheets of paper
- markers
Assessment
Students should complete and submit the student worksheet for the lesson.
Implementation Tips
If there are not enough computers for students, you could:
- create small working groups project the image for the class using an LCD projector
- print and distribute the materials
