We are from St.Stanislaus 2 Junior High School Surabaya East Java.  Our school is on Kalijudan 22-33 Street, where is our school near from Kenjeran Beach. Kenjeran Beach is in our city Surabaya.  All of river in Surabaya finish at Kenjeran Beach, with all small rivers cross of real estate, also finish at Kenjeran Beach. Situation of the river flow in front of our school, if we see that from water structure is very necessary, but we still do to research for the PH, NITRATE, PHOSPHATE, and OXYGEN, for decrease the water pollutant In our school.  Our school have some programs, Example: Green group, it have activities in conserve environment.  Our school have program to clean school environment includes the river whose flow in front of our school every month. Our school very support sustainable education of environment.

SMA Muhammadyah 3 Sby

Our school is the second best place after out home, How Not ? we can get many experience, knowledge, education, etc. And Also, we meet many people from many region, with different face, different skin colours and of course, different character. An then from them, be our best friend.

Our school's address is Jl. Gadung III / 7, Wonokromo, Surabaya City. There is a school complex, from kinder Garden to University. Especially our High School, in second story and third story, consist of 12 classes, language Laboratory, Science Laboratory, Teacher's Room, Head Master's Office, Canteen, Our Lovely Class and the others.

Recent years, our school make some program for the environment conservation. Yeah.... because We realize that our environment especially water, is in worst condition. Full of waste, Garbage, oil and the other. Although, our government make a law that prohibit any waste from factory or from citizen throw away to the river. But, they still don't throw their waste in the right place......

In Our school that program has already folk no to bad and fortunately it's make improvement in cleaning subject for our school, because before this program haven't applied in our school, the condition was not good to see, garbage every where, there is just little plant. All of them are caused by law which was not strict anywhere, it was make all of us didn't care anymore and just thought " Let it Be " even until now !!!

Do you know, in our school only there are al little improvement about cleaning program. Some times we want there are some a lot of improvement n reformation, may be about the law in our school, the punishment for the student, the activities of learning and teaching, And just a lot information, our school is " Sick " now, The problem between our teacher, then.. about headmaster n vice headmaster that suspicion.... have a problem about " Money ", and then They some times don't care about us or Student program...

yeah, that the important, we, the student of that school will improve it self, with our effort, to get more knowledge, experience and of course for keep our environment green And Clean

We think it's enough for our introduction about our school. Thx all and Have a nice Day

Northeast Vernon County Junior High

Northeast Vernon County Junior High is located in Walker, Missouri at the following latitude and longitude - 37:53:58N 94:13:49W. The school district is a small one, and has approximately 220 students in grades pre-K through 12. This project involved only one 8th grade student who competed in the Science Fair at Missouri Southern State University. It was a project intended to allow her to "get her feet wet," as she had never done any water quality testing. She was unfamiliar with the LaMotte Testing Supplies and with the rubrics to measure water quality.

Although, she did a great job on the project, no one at Northeast anticipated the problem we would encounter after testing for a negative or positive result for coliform bacteria. The project was disqualified. Still, the student was allowed to compete for special awards. She won two - one from the Carver Institute of Science and Technology and one from the Women's Geophysicists.

The project studies the water quality of two impoundment lakes that are located 25 feet apart. The latitude and longitude of the lakes are 38:01:09N 94:06:59W. They are part on a manmade wetland built in 1935. Schell Lake is flooded by the Osage River at least annually and Atkinson Lake is affected by agricultural runoff and only flooded every 5 to 10 years. The Hypothesis of the project was: I think Schell Lake will have overall better water quality than Atkinson Lake.

At least part of the student's reasoning was based on her statement: Schell Lake will slough off decomposed material due to flooding than Atkinson Lake where decaying material will sit at lakes bottom until complete decay takes place. As a result, the biological Oxygen Demand at Schell Lake will be lower than at Atkinson Lake.
Her variables were as follows: The independent variable in this project will be the location of the testing site. An accessible site off of the dam at Schell Lake will be chosen and an accessible site off of the dam at Atkinson Lake will be chosen to ensure the depth of the water in adequate for an accurate test using the LaMotte container.
The dependent variable will be the water quality index as I will compare the results of the two locations.

York High School

We are a class of 9th and 10th grade Biology Students. Yorktown is the historic Yorktown of the British surrender during the Revolutionary War. The stream we are testing is located within the Yorktown Battlefield Park. On the north side of the bridge are the headwaters of Beaverdam Creek, we only tested the stream just south of the bridge. We expect the water to be relatively clean since it is located within the park and there is no agricultural or industrial runoff nearby. We hope to test the waters twice within a 10 day period and average the results. This is a great way to end the year!
