What I do:  I design and write software programs for embedded devices.  Embedded devices are the electronic items that we use every day such as cell phones, radios, MP3 players, and handheld computers.  I happen to work for a company that makes products for aerospace and military applications.  These can be items like two-way radios or night vision goggles. What I like most about my job: It's always a challenge.  Making thousands of lines of software work with the hardware is not an easy task.  It is a good feeling when you put out a successful product on the market.  I have also gotten to travel to new places for field testing and talked with our customers about how they use our product.  I also get to play with a lot of neat toys.
