What I do:  I teach the basics of Civil Engineering to students who want to join the profession of Civil Engineering. Also, I conduct research on the use of the latest materials, on the development of new analysis methods, and on the development of new design and construction specifications that advance the profession into the future. What I like most about my job: I like to help student understand the basis of my chosen profession. I also like solving new problems in my research area.
