What I do:  I design fire protection systems, such as sprinklers systems, for mostly high rise commercial and residential buildings. My job requires me to survey existing buildings, use computer aided design tools, and inspect finished construction What I like most about my job: What I like most about my job is that I get a chance to go "behind the scenes" and see the inner workings of some of country's most fascinating buildings, such as the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the New York Life Building and the World Financial Center. Making these buildings safer is also a very rewarding part of my job.
