I’m
doing the STOCKMARKET GAME with all my 8th grade students. SMG is an
online education program focusing on the importance of long term
savings and investments. Students manage a simulated investment
portfolio for 10 week period. Students use Internet research and
news updates making stock decisions based on what they learned.
Mathematical concepts and technology are reinforced using the
Stockmarket game. The next couple of weeks we are winding down the
contest. Four of our teams finished in the top ten in New Jersey. The
