Creating a Spreadsheet to Analyze the Global Digital Divide


The following rubric may be used to assess student work.

Correctly extracted data from source site
Correctly positioned extracted data into spreadsheet
Selected data as instructed (US and one country from each major continent:  6 total)
Used an appropriate formula for requested calculation
Applied formula to full columns as appropriate
Successfully created a chart to visually represent spreadsheet data
Intelligently summarized findings and formulated questions in narrative form

4:  Correct and complete.   Successfully applied skills to analyze data.

3:  Largely correct and complete.  Generally applied skills to analyze data.
