          Automotive Electrical Diagnosis: Establishing a Process

  • Student Directions:
    • Obtain an email posting of a real world electrical problem from your instructor. 
    • Utilizing the referenced URL's below, or the appropriate service manuals from the automotive library for your vehicle, print out or copy the electrical schematics you need to diagnose the problem. 
    • Attach the schematics you obtained to the worksheet below.
    • Recalling the instructor email posting that was reviewed earlier in class, complete the following worksheet by writing out the steps you would take and the digital volt-ohm meter (DVOM) readings you would  perform to repair the vehicle. 
    • Attach another blank sheet if you need additional space for writing.
