Contingency Analysis of Prison Inmates and Staff

Content Material

  • Background:

Whether we want to believe it or not, the prison system in the United States is a booming business.   Thousands of inmates across the country come from varying backgrounds and possess many different characteristics.  In this exercise, we will test whether or not the fact that an inmate is on death row is independent of gender.  We will also test whether or not the fact that a prison staff member is a corrections officer is independent of gender.
