Peer Review Process

Each RWLO that is submitted to the RWLO Library will be reviewed prior to its acceptance in the Library. Once accepted, the RWLO library contents will list the author's name and institution next to each RWLO.

Panel Reviewers

  • The review panel will consist of at least two members from the following consortium partners (Stevens Institute of Technology, Cuyahoga Community College, Maricopa Community College , Miami-Dade College , Bank Street College and Polaris Career Center .)
  • Review panel members will have an understanding of the RWLO guidelines and knowledge in the subject matter of the RWLO.
  • Each panel member will review the submitted RWLO and judge according to the RWLO evaluation criteria. Panel members may include additional comments or suggestions for changes to make the RWLO acceptable for inclusion in the library.

RWLO Review Process

  • RWLOs will go through a first review by one panel member and then a second review by another panel member. Reviews will be done in a sequential manner with comments, if necessary, sent to the author after each review. The second panel member will ultimately determine if the RWLO will be accepted for publication in the RWLO library.
  • If a RWLO author disagrees with any of the reviewer's comments, they have the opportunity to note this when the RWLO is re-submitted. Their comments will be taken into account when conducting the final review.
