Professional Learning Communities


School-based Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) comprised of NJ PRIME teachers will meet twice a month during the school year at their schools. Teachers will explore math content and teaching practice through a variety of active learning approaches that will improve their math content at a deep level (Rigor) of specific (Focus) areas in the CCSS-M. Teachers will become familiar with the entire structure of content and mathematical practices of the CCSS-M at all grade levels represented in their PLC (Coherence).
