Purpose

The purpose of today's session is to learn how to use the Internet by experiencing the technology first-hand. It is designed for the novice with no prior experience. We will explain the different parts of Netscape and let you practice your surfing skills through guided activities.You will obtain a free e-mail account and learn how to compose, send and read e-mail messages.  Lastly, you will set up a free online bookmarks program so you may access your bookmarks from anywhere.
