The purpose of this workshop series is to help you better understand how the Internet and Mathematics software can be useful in teaching and learning mathematics. Participants will get a hands-on opportunity to learn how to use a variety of software environments that will engage students in problem solving. Examples include: Geometer's Sketchpad, Spreadsheets (Excel, Appleworks), Microworlds and Green Globs. Extensive information on software, calculators, etc. will be provided.
