Dynamic Teacher Presentations
| Teachers with one computer connected to a projection
device can use the Internet to introduce or enrich a unit or even take
their students on a virtual field trip. Similar to how a VCR can be used
to show short video clips, the Internet can be used to show information,
photos, live cam shots, and real time data. |
EXAMPLE: Students track the voyage of a ship from the Pacific
Ocean to the Atlantic Ocean through the Panama Canal. On the day that the ship
passes through the Panama Canal, the teacher sets up a computer connected to a
projection device so that all students can watch the live
cam shots of the ship passing through the Canal.
