Technology Management Plan

This component deals with how to effectively manage limited technology resources. By utilizing certain technology management strategies it is possible to implement Internet-based projects in a range of technology-poor environments. This area of project management is often the most challenging as well as the most important when dealing with Internet-based projects. Specific parts of the Technology Management Plan are shown below.

DISCUSSION TOPIC: An social studies teacher in Phoenix, Arizona attends a professional development workshop and sees the Historical Treasure Chests Project. He would like to use this project as well as additional resources for primary source material in his class but only has one computer that is connected to the Internet. He decides that until he has more computers in his classroom, it is not worth implementing the project.
