  • Scroll down to see the earthquakes plotted on a world map.
  • Look at the time and date stamp of the page. How current is the information? 
  • The students will plot the earthquakes on a classroom map over a period of time.
  • When students view the completed map, they will be able to describe the pattern that emerges. 
  • Social Studies - study the countries where earthquakes have occurred.
  • Language Arts - Read first person accounts of earthquakes. Look for related newspaper articles.
