Overview
The workshop will instruct teachers in the effective use of Internet resources in K12 classes and in how to use FrontPage to create websites designed to support specific curriculum. Teachers will participate in a five day hands-on workshop to explore and identify Internet resources that utilize real time data, global telecollaboration, publishing of student work and primary source material. These “unique and compelling” applications cannot be accomplished with textbooks or other print materials. The workshop will review Internet-based projects in science, mathematics, social studies and language arts across all grade levels. Presentations of teachers’ websites will be celebrated on the final day.
